Sales Graduates

# Craiglee stud had
success on Sunday 6th Nov at Corbould Park, Caloundra with their 2YO first
starter "Craiglee Vance" ( Bagger Vance / Chinese Princess) who won
the QTIS maiden over 1000m. Craiglee usually race horses they have bred using
stallions which stand on their own property at Kennilworth in Qld. However Stan
Johnson was so impressed by the performances of Aspiran and Carry The Clubs,
both very good 2YO race horses, who both went on to win in open company, that
he sent some of his better mares up to Rockhampton's Riverside Stud to be
served by resident sire Bagger Vance. Craiglee Vance is the first of these
resultant foals to race and on his first up performance should perform well in
future events.

# Central Qld bred
horses provided the trifecta in the 1100m Maiden Plate, conducted at Pioneer
Park, Emerald on Saturday 5th Nov. Nordic Warrior (by
Western Red which stood initially at Riverside Stud and then at Palm View Stud)
defeated Rosie's Bon Bon ( by Bagger Vance which currently stands at Riverside
Stud) with Edgeroi Dixie ( by Back The Crown which stood in the Callide Dawson
district) in 3rd placing.
