The Central Queensland Thoroughbred Breeders Association Inc has recently appointed Adrienne McCosker as General Manager. An integral part of Adrienne's responsibilities will be to ensure the successful operation of the 2010 Capricornia Yearling Sale. Key elements will include the coordination of nominations, selection and cataloguing of yearlings to ensure a quality draft is on offer in 2010. Adrienne brings to the CQTBA a broad knowledge of thoroughbred breeding and marketing after working with William Inglis and Robert Roulston Bloodstock.CQTBA president Ross Shannon said, "Our organisation is thrilled to have been able to secure Adrienne's services to assist our organisation to ensure that the 2010 Capricornia Yearling Sale is organised and marketed in a truly professional manner.
"In this regard Adrienne has been able to utilise her widespread network of industry contacts to secure Adrian Hancock, Director of Hancock Quality Bloodstock as our sale auctioneer. Adrian has national recognition as a bloodstock agent and specialises in yearling and broodmare selection as well as stallion placement with various commercial studs. He is based in South Australia and previously worked with Magic Millions as well as other renowned bloodstock agencies prior to establishing his own business."
