2012 Capricornia Yearling Sales
The Central Queensland Thoroughbred Breeders Association in
conjunction with the Rockhampton Jockey Club are proud to confirm that the 2012
Capricornia Yearling Sale will take place on Sunday 1st April, 2012
at the Rockhampton Showgrounds.
Nomination forms will be available from Monday 31st
October on the following website, www.cqtba.com and any telephone enquiries can
be directed to 0427-229-033.
We have reverted to a Sunday Sale and the Rockhampton Jockey
Club will host the running of the
Capricornia Sales Classic 2YO race and 3YO Championship on Saturday 31st
March, 2012 at Callaghan Park. Related
events will be the Corporate Race Day Packages, Calcutta Dinner and the Welcome
BBQ.
Graduates from this sale are automatically nominated for the
2013 Capricornia Sales Classic 2YO race with prizemoney of $100,000. This has
proven to be a great incentive in the past for buyers to support the sale.
Racing is thriving in Rockhampton at present due to the new
race track at Callaghan Park, so don't miss this opportunity to showcase your
yearling to a strong local buying bench.
This year's sale will be open to both QTIS eligible and also
non QTIS eligible yearlings.
